About This Project
The Crown Windows team have recently completed this stunning hybrid guardian conservatory for a lovely client in Cheddington, working alongside the client to develop a design and plan to ensure the highest standard was obtained throughout the project. The client had already had a conservatory installed many years ago by another contractor, but found that it was always too hot in the summer months, making it unpleasant to enjoy their homes addition all year round. Not only this, but the conservatory was also beginning to subside, which is an extreme health and safety hazard for the family, making it vital that the Crown Windows team not only transformed their conservatory, but made it safe for many years to come.
What We Did
Work on the conservatory began before the lockdown, and sadly, due to COVID-19, the team had to arrange work to be completed once it was safe to continue. The team ensured that they kept in contact with the client throughout the lockdown period, keeping them updated on when the team were safely able to return to the property, along with what safety measures we have now put in place to maintain health and safety throughout the remainder of the project.
After speaking with the client, a design was formulated and the team began work structuring the foundations of the conservatory to make it safe before completing the remaining steps. As you can see from the photos below, the client decided to incorporate tiles on the lower section of the conservatory, as well as the roof for a solid and structured conservatory. The roof also incorporates a stunning Velux window to maximise on natural light without making the room too hot in the summer. The windows are a sophisticated and fresh white uPVC, which boasts exceptional durability, reliability and longevity.
Overall, this project took around six weeks to complete and only four days to fit the guardian tiled roof, allowing the client to thoroughly enjoy their conservatory not long after lockdown measures were eased. If you are interested in the conservatory featured below or would like to know more about how you can transform your conservatory with a range of high-quality and reputable products, then please feel free to contact the team.

Planning & Design
“After experiencing all that heat last summer our conservatory became unbearable, so we decided to shop around and see what could be done about it. When Crown visited our home they found damage to the conservatory and was more than happy to show us the issue and discuss ways we could repair it. We were really impressed with the way that they handled the lockdown situation and were so happy to see the team return! Thank you for everything that you have done, it’s so nice being able to sit in the conservatory even on the hottest day of the year!”
