About This Project
A recent project of ours was a bi-folding door installation in Milton Keynes.The client wanted an easy way to incorporate the outdoors into their kitchen/dining room, especially for the summer months.
After visiting the property, our team decided that the best way to reach what the customer required was to install bi-folding doors. This would give the homeowner the versatility to integrate the inside of their property with the outside.
What We Did
After the Crown Windows team had gone to the property for a consultation, we collectively concluded that fitting bi-folding doors were the best route to go down. The team then initiated the installation by removing the wall where the doors were going to be fitted. This was done safely and carefully, due to the added complication of the floating corner that also needed to be considered when choosing the correct type of bi-folding door to use.
Once the doors where fitted, it created a spacious feel to the property by adding more light into the home. An extra feature we added to the doors, was the integrated blinds we installed. This was mainly due to the clients wish to be able to keep the sun out if she ever wanted too.
As a whole, the bi-folding door installation added an extra bit of wow-factor to the home. The overall aim of introducing the outdoors into the client’s kitchen was achieved, and it gave the client more space and functionality to remove the wall between home and garden in a matter of seconds.
