About This Project

Our clients contacted Crown Windows because they wanted to update the windows and doors at their lovely traditional property in Northamptonshire.

Their main priority was to choose products that would complement the character of their home while still providing the durability, security and energy efficiency expected from modern windows and doors. They wanted to retain a classic appearance without the maintenance often associated with traditional timber frames.

After discussing the different options available, we recommended our popular Timberlook range. These crafted wood-effect windows recreate the look and feel of traditional timber while offering a durable, low-maintenance alternative that is designed to last.

This made them an ideal choice for the property, allowing our clients to preserve its traditional character while still benefiting from modern double glazing in Northampton.

The cream exterior was carefully chosen to complement the style of the home, while the white internal frames created a bright and versatile finish inside.

What We Did

For this project, we installed eight Timberlook flush casement windows in a Cream on White colour combination.

Our clients also chose Astragal Bars, which added traditional detailing to the glass and helped the new windows feel completely in keeping with the property. The flush casement design sits neatly within the outer frame, creating a refined finish that closely resembles traditional timber windows.

Alongside the windows, our team installed two Cream on White UPVC doors. Using matching colours across the windows and doors helped create a consistent appearance throughout the home.

Every product was made to measure to ensure a secure fit and a high-quality finish. Our experienced installation team completed the full project within two days while working carefully to minimise disruption.
